Business Solutions Director, Mastek: November 2008 – August 2009

I was engaged to extend the reach of the Government and New Markets sector to plan and deliver to vigorous UK and global growth plans. I engaged directly with sales and account teams, onshore and offshore, to define and develop propositions to take to market.

I also worked to enhance and improve the contributions of the global and local pre-sales and solutions architecture teams. To raise the standard and presentation of solutions, I encouraged a different, more assertive way of looking at requirements and diagnosing solutions and worked hands on in several bid efforts, contributing solutions and technical design input, reviews, written response and overall bid direction to demonstrate approaches and changes required to deliver to the aspirations of the organisation.

Accomplishments included:

Solution Director on public and private sector bids; Raised standard of solutions / bid responses

Started new relationships with two FTSE100 companies; repaired the relationship with a third
